There is no doubt, boot camp exercises are HOT! There are several key elements that make them fun and effective. They are easy to execute (no choreography needed), there are usually many modifications and progressions (beginner to advance), and boot camp workouts give you a “pass” to be creative! Below, are a few different boot camp exercises you can use to strengthen your heart AND your body.

The Relays
Divide your trainees into two groups. Have each group stand at opposite ends of the area, facing each other. All trainees will then run to the center of the area, jump squat and “high five” the person in front of them and run back to start. Have trainees perform this drill for 5 minutes.

Partner Push-ups
Divide your trainees into groups of two (each trainee has a partner). Partner A will hold a plank position (push-up position without movement). Partner B will place hands on the ankle of Partner A and perform 8-12 push-ups. Have partners switch positions.
